HI THERE...
Need help with this bench test wiring with this DRIVER....
LCDA357H...[ LICHUAN ] This came with 2 resistors and the motor...
I have the 24v.power supply and it shows to use the 2 resistors...
For PUL+ AND DIR.+ with 24V.
If I use a 36 or 48v power supply maybe I would not have to use the 2 resistors...
This setup would be use for 7X12 Lathe Z axis 5TPI....
Acorn S14851 dwg..for wiring info..
I watch vid. of Marty and others and they use jumper wires on there drives ...
But they are not the same drives as mine....
INFO,PICs below...
THANKS...

Re: Need Help with this driver!!!
I would set this driver like a leadshine.
This needs to be driven from the DB25 port not the Acorn Header. The DB25 is already 5V.
Also the 2k resistors are to step the 24v supply to 5v. Wire your Pulse+ Dir+ & Ena+ from your 5v supply without the resistors.
You can still use 24V to your motor supply however 48v will give you higher torque.

Re: Need Help with this driver!!!
OK...I got both drivers hook up and running on bench test..
They are running with the lathe pawn test program....
So far so good...
Next have to hook up Z axis motor to the lathe ball screw and get that dial in...
Thanks to all who help me...
I"ll report back later with more Info....
