ok.. after some investigation.. thanks caleb! v4.20 has inadvertently left out the Lathe PLCmsg.txt file (and is using the mill version of the message file) this file is simply the text messages that appear in the CNC12 dialog box that correspond to a function in the PLC program, for instance when a drive fault input is activated the words DRIVE FAULT! appear in the cnc12 dialog box.. the file PLCmsg.txt is where CNC12 gets the text from to display when the drive fault occurs. (So you can have fun with this if you like and change the message to whatever you want by simply editing the PLCmsg.txt file. ) ok back to the shuttle.. so when the mill PLCmsg.txt file is being used on a lathe along with the Shuttle the axis labels for the shuttle selection appear as mill axes.. so easy fix as caleb discovered, just edit the four lines of the PLCmsg.txt file that display the Shuttle axes labels which i have done and attached a PLCmsg.txt file for use with a Lathe.
the other bit of the shuttle puzzle is the Centroid Shuttle Preference file, this file has the Shuttle buttons configured for use with CNC12 and according to the Shuttle information and installation video found on this page. https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... uttle.html
this file is missing from the 4.20 installation as well. so, i have attached it here as well.
follow the video for how to install this .pref file and how to configure the Contour Shuttle configuration software to work with cncm.exe and cnct.exe
simple copy this file into the cnct directory and restart cnc12 for the new file to be put to work.Lathe usb (contour shuttle) jog axis labels wrong <resolved>

Thanks Keith, really appreciate the follow up communications and acknowledgement that there was a minor issue, especially being as it's a 3rd party device that you could have just said was no longer supported because it was superseded...
