Re: VCP Skinning
Rough ETA on this update? Couldnt find Keith's roadmap post mentioned above. I stumbled across the skinning info in /cncm and was excited at the possibility of simulating the layout and look of the Haas NGC control on my upcoming Mini Mill retrofit, but found the C# programming to be a touch more difficult than the Arduino stuff I'm used to.

Re: VCP Skinning
I believe this is limited to the VCP, so I don't think you'll be able to simulate a Haas control. I am personally interested in what the LinuxCNC crew is putting together here https://forum.linuxcnc.org/41-guis/3499 ... y?start=90 , but to simulate something like that (or the Haas) would require access to more than just the VCP. I will say, despite looking outdated, the Centroid screens are very touch and function key friendly, which go a long way toward ease of operating the actual machine (i.e. the thing that matters most). I'm not a fan of needing a mouse next to a CNC machine.

Re: VCP Skinning
I am looking forward to and very excited about this as well. In particular I'd like to change some of the aux button labels so that they show they are to open, close, or set the electric collet closer. Any ETA?

Re: VCP Skinning
Being able to edit the AUX button labels will be the icing on the cake. It’s the only thing my machine is missing.

Re: VCP Skinning
Will this new VCP have the ability to display the value of system variables? It displays federate overide % so could it allow us to chose other variables to display?

How's this coming along, Keith? You tantalised us in the latest video (F5 CAM menu etc) with views of your VCP 2.0 which looks pretty cool.
Looking forward to seeing this soon!!
