Would anyone have a wiring diagram for the Centroid Acorn wire to (4) TB6600 Motor drivers to (4) NEMA 23 motors
I am wiring a wood router with 4 motors (two for Y axis)
I just purchase the Acorn this week Thank You in advance

Always post a link to the driver manual to save us from having to search for it. I found a picture of your drive.Mbonenfant wrote: ↑Tue Sep 10, 2019 8:13 pm Would anyone have a wiring diagram for the Centroid Acorn wire to (4) TB6600 Motor drivers to (4) NEMA 23 motors

Use the Leadshine schematic. Don't connect the enable at first.
Buy a DB25 male breakout board from Amazon so you can land your wires and plug into the DB25 port
Good luck!

Re: Centroid Acorn and TB6600 Motor Drivers
I am also using TB6600 motor drivers and used the Leadshine schematic for wiring. I left the enable disconnected.
Is there an advantage to using the DB25 male breakout board instead wiring direct to Acorn I/O?
Mine seems to work fine but my 4th axis (YA) will sometimes turn faster than the master Y, causing my Gantry to get out of square. Seems to work great at 10 ipm. Once I get to 100 ipm they will not stay in sync. This may be a mechanical issue though with the lead screws? At first I thought it was a faulty motor so I swapped the motors and same result. I then swapped out the drivers and still same problem.

Those drives are much more compatible with the signal from the DB25 port than the screw terminals. Use the DB25 port and a small breakout board for your step & direction connections

Re: Centroid Acorn and TB6600 Motor Drivers
If you follow along in the Wizard, once "Leadshine" is selected as axis drive type, you will see the DB25 connector page default connection is the DB25 header, not the screw terminals

I have been fighting this for a few days. I was using the screw terminals to try and drive the generic TB6600 stepper drivers and it just wouldn't work. By tapping into the DB25 it works great. I wish it was better documented.

It is well documented (see pg.24 in the Acorn Installation Manual). You can find it in the All Acorn Documentation Page (see stickies above) or at the following link.
