Re: STEPS/revolution
What happens when you hit Estop? Do the motors release and go free?
Are these DMM Dyn2 or DYN4? How did you wire them? What schematic did you use?

Is DYN2 and I use the wire diagram of ACORN EVE 170630 PN:14445
did you watched the video?

did you watched the video?
That happens when you turn off power?
I just finished a CNC Router with Dyn2 drives and don't see this.
I have a lathe with DYN2s as well and it doesn't do that on power down.
Did you see the XY motors twitch when you bench tested them when you powered down the control?
Can you move the table to the center of their travels and shut down at that point? Do the axis twitch when you power off the control (Remove power completely from the drives)

Re: STEPS/revolution
Hi Marty
Yes only happens when I turn off the power.
I not saw the motors twitch during the bench test.
I moved the table to the center of the travel ( X and Y ) and did the same.
I attached he type of motors I have, the only one I don't is the DYN4 driver and motor.
Marty do you please post here the wire diagram and all the connections that you did in the Dyn2 that you use please.
I watched lot of the videos from you and I think that I have lot more wires, I connected all the wires that show in the 2 diagrams, do you please take look and let me know what you think.
Thank you
Wagner Damotta

On the lathe, I used Centroid's schematic.wagdamotta wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2019 7:46 pm Hi Marty

On the router, I used the Acorn accessory boards from CNC4PC.com
Don't understand how you didn't have issues on the bench but you do on the machine.

Re: STEPS/revolution
Did you put the capacitors on your power supply after you did the bench test?

Re: STEPS/revolution
watch the drives (and drive power supply) as you power down, do the LED's blink?
Try and press Estop before powering down to see if it makes any difference.
You may have to reach out to DMM, but I do not understand how you didn't have the problem when you bench tested but now on the machine you do (or might you not have noticed it when bench testing?)

Re: STEPS/revolution
Hi Marty
I did what you told me, and the LED not blink only take a few seconds for go off, and I try pressed the Estop switch and did the same, I contacted DMM and hi told me when it happens have to install a time relay in the power in of the driver, I decided install another power switch just for turn the power off in the driver first, I did and work no more jump.
Thank you Marty, now I have to finish the tune the machine before I try use.
Tomorrow I going to try adjust the backlash and I let you know how I make out.
Thank you
