Running Mill 12-16.
Set up for metric.
Touch-off probe is NORMALLY CLOSED on Input 7. Probe OPENS when contacted.
Probe detect on Input 6.
Just found a problem using MPG with tool touch-off.
If I am jogging down with keyboard and hit my touch-off probe then jogging stops with a message that probe is detected. All as expected.
When jogging down using MPG I get a message like "Probe detected while jogging with MPG. Switch to X1 to reset". Problem is that jogging down still continue to work on X10 and X100.
Report attached.
Touch off probe and MPG behavior.

Re: Touch off probe and MPG behavior.
Keith,
Yes, when jogging down with the MPG. I get the message that probe is detected and to change to 1X to reset, but 10X and 100X still works.

Re: Touch off probe and MPG behavior.
ok.. thanks i confirmed on my system.
so, no worries, we'll take care of it.
options: use the VCP jog buttons to back off a probe tripped scenario as they will only let you move the axis away from the tripped surface.
use the MPG on x1 and make sure you are turning the wheel so the probe is moving away from the tripped surface.
