Beginner - Inputs dont seem to be working <answered >

Post by bencnc »

Hi, I have recently received my centroid acorn and have been getting it setup to install in a mill. I ran the bench test and then wired in my stepper controllers etc. All working great (set EStop to NO as had not connected this yet)
Today I connected the Drive OK (set this to NO in wizard) and EStop (set this to NC in wizard) but they just are not working, the LEDs for the inputs are continuous red (even when connected with a wire to COM). And CNC12 thinks the EStop is tripped and the DRIVEOK never triggers.
Looking at live inputs (Alt-I) Input 5 (DriveOK) is green and Input 8 (EStop) is red and neither change.
I know its probably something really basic I am missing, but cant work out whats wrong. Any help much appreciated.

Do you have the +24VDC connected to the inputs as shown in the schematics? I missed that when I was bench testing and, same as you, nothing worked.
