home settings

Post by jredburn »

I just purchased a 4' x 4\ gannet router setup. I stalled it in my garage and it will load and run. It has reference marks on the frame for the home positions. I mad a mistake an reset the home positions for the Y axis somewhere out in the middle of the table. Now I cannot jog the router back to edge rail of the table. It says that Y limits have been exceeded. How to I clear the home position, move the router and reset the home coordinates?

More info like Keith said.

Briefly:
If you do not use home switches and do a simple home, that is you homed to a given point, the only way to clearn that is to POWER DOWN ACORN.

Then power it up. DO NOT HOME yet. First: jog your axis to your machine home point THEN press CYCLE START to SET HOME on the machine.

Take a video and post it if this isn't working along with the information Keith requested. You can "SEE" your machine, how its wired, how you setup your control...we can't ;)

ALWAYS POST A REPORT! There is information in the report that tells us how you set your machine up. So Keith is pointing you to instructions on what to provide that will help us help you...
