The "Advanced" option is an option for the native Centroid file load screen. To use that screen, you would set Parameter 4 to a value of 5.0.
Do you have additional documentation on Parameter 4? this is all I found... Nothing about adding 8 or a value of 5 - mine was set to 9 no mention of that either.

p4 is "bitwise" that means you add the values up of the features you want and enter that value for p4

the value of 9 comes from adding feature with value of 1 and feature with value of 8 together = 9
