Dan, what kind of setup do you have? I have a bunch of macros I wrote for routers that might be useful to you. If there's anything I can share with you let me know.

Here's a picture of the router. I have a build thread but it's kind long and deals with a lot of other things. The short version is a 2x4 router with a water cooled spindle.

It's not finished since I haven't been able to work on it for over a month. It is however functional just needs the encloser door finished and some wiring to be finished for the water cooler, fans, tool height setter and touch off plate.

So basically what I need is to set up the Dt02 tool hight detection and a material height touch off plate. Also want to have CNC12 turn on and off the encloser fans power supply as well as the the water cooler power supply for the spindle with assigning AUX buttons. I also feel like it will help out for when I get my dust collector figured out. The only other thing I have planned at some point is air blasters for cutting aluminum sheet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, if there is anything you need fabricated that I can do let me know.

It would be amazing if someone with a YouTube channel did a instructional video similar to some of the design software videos (AI, Photoshop, Fusion360, Aspire, Solidworks ext.... Tutorials) for guys like me that have zero experience with this software. I'm sure you would get thousands of views if you made one since I've seen a ton of guys asking how to do the same things I'm trying to figure out.

Thank you very much for any help with setting those things up. And let me know if you need anything fabricated that I can help with mainly welding or brackets or things along those lines. I greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

Dan

Dan...
There has been a few minor issues with CNC12 v12 regarding the AUX buttons since the pendant was implemented. It appears to be worked out very well in the upcoming version.

For now, if you are not using the pendant, try using buttons 9,10 or 11. Im on the road and not near a controller to give you a definitive answer

in v4.12 the MPG macro buttons were simply mapped to the Aux keys by design. not an issue :-)
only change with upcoming v4.14 in this regards is that the macro buttons on the MPG are now separated from the Aux keys on the VCP.

Hello Toaster,
I have Acorn 4.5 & I want to use two of the Macro buttons on the MPG to start my Dust extractor & Vacuum table motor. Do you have any Macros that can do that? I have been able to get button 4 to home but nothing else as I am a complete novice at Macros.
Thank you for any help in advance.
