I just got a Dell OptiPlex 7440 All in One. i5-6500, 8Gb RAM, 256Gb SSD and 24" Touchscreen. Loads of them used on eBay for $200-$400 or so at the moment.

Lenovo M700 appears to be the newer version, and judging by the model number it is 607 better than the M93 :ugeek: . Intel I5-6400T

Any reason to go with the M93P instead?

Great CPU performance but be careful with the touch screen and dust, may cause some unwanted issues.

This will be good for your new lathe project but not the best for a router.

Thx Shawn, no issues so far.

I know it's an older Gen4, but an M93P with the i5-4570T has a rating of 1895, whereas the 6500T is 1786. Have used several them and they perform well.

Ordered a "renewed" M93P on Amazon, it is NFG, no boot, seems like disk issue (the blue screen of death told me so). I'm afraid we are scraping the bottom of the refurbishing barrel on this model. I'm one of those dumb "Apple" guys who doesn't understand the "Quad-encabulator Raizen i97 6900T 1.21 jigawatt" lingo, so I'm leaning on you guys for a recommendation. What's next?

I sell dozens of M93 Lenovo's, get a good one. Good bang for the buck

On the website linked by Centroid, the single thread rating for the i5-6500T is 1647. Is it higher than the minimum 1500 required by CNC12, yup, but to me that's scraping the bottom of the barrel for performance.

Maybe you are using a different benchmark website for values.

The one you link to is a i5-6400T. Yep, that one's borderline. There's a boatload of the 6500's out there.
