Hi i'm Maurizio, a new user from Italy
I’m interested in your product AcornSix.
I own a (model) TECH100 (brand) SCM mill which I want to upgrade. It has three Yaskawa cacr-sr10be12g-e servodriver and a Fuji FVR7.5E11S-4EN inverter with double sprindle.
It has a ESA Kletra 10400 CNC contoller.
I want to remove the original CNC controller to replace it with a modern system based on Windows PC
Can your ArconSix card work on this system?
Which optional/expansion card do I need?
It is possible to get a circuit diagram?
( on your website I saw many circuit diagrams, but not for these servodriver)
if necessary I attach the component manuals
Hoping to hear from you as soon as possible
Best regards
Director

Hello Maurizio,
The correct manual for the Yaskawa part number you give is TSE-S800-11.1E which is found here: https://www.yaskawa.com/delegate/getAtt ... -11.1E.pdf
Since these are speed control drives, you will not be able to control them with an ACORNSIX or ACORN. Our recommended solution would be OAK.
OAK should work well with that inverter although I am not sure how the double spindle is configured so I cannot give advice on that without more information.
Edit: Aamir has used OAK and the CACR-SR drives before: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic. ... 949#p89949. It might be worth reaching out to him for advice.

Re: ArconSix on SCM Tech 100
Hello,
I think the correct manual for the yaskawa is the one I attached in the first post.
https://www.yaskawa.com/delegate/getAtt ... -11.2B.pdf
Attached are the images of the code reported on the Yaskawa and the connections
The inverter for the spindles is this
https://americas.fujielectric.com/files ... 627a-E.pdf
The machine has two spindles that can be used individually, I cannot use both spindles at the same time. I would like to use one spindle equipped for milling on wood and soft materials and the second spindle equipped for machining on aluminium, copper and soft metals.
Working with a single spindle I can also create an electronic board that connects one or the other to the Oak board depending on my needs.

Re: ArconSix on SCM Tech 100
Hello again Maurizio,
The manual you linked is for CACR-SR__BY1__ series drives while you have CACR-SR__BE1__ series drives. They are probably very similar and the manuals may be almost identical however it is best practice to use the one that matches the part number.
You should be able to control one spindle at a time with the OAK. You should be able to use different Work Coordinate Systems to correct for the difference in spindle positions. You'll need to come up with a suitable switching arrangement and a way to remember to select the correct WCS.
I would probably try to control it with a single two position rotary switch with multiple poles. Use one circuit to inputs on the OAK to a macro to select the correct WCS and the other circuits to switch from one spindle to the other.

I checked and I apologize for the error,
the link I attached was incorrect.
I attach again the correct link for the yaskawa CACR-SR__BE1__
