Have you accidentally deleted the image because it is included in the zip file:
did you actually extract the contents of the zip file to your desktop, or are you opening the zip with file explorer?Cheers,
Tom

Re: Xkeys USB Keypad Operator Control Panel for Centroid CNC
Sorry to be so long in getting back to you. I am not sure I have explained the problem I have.
I have spent a good part of several days trying to understand how to program the Xk-24 keys so that
the action of the buttons will be what is indicated by the icons on the keys. But I can't seem to get the macros to load
properly. I have the Xk-24 plugged into a usb port. I have downloaded macroworks3.1. when I try to load a template/legend from the Centroid XK-24 files
I get a message that it is missing the icon image files. when I click the OK button it brings up the same request for each of the image files.
Until I have cycled through all the images and wind up with all the keys having some erroneous macro loaded in them. If try to import the legend files
Using the import menu in macroworks3.1. I get the same message about missing image files, and after cycling through each file, I wind up with no macros in the keys. I am sure I don't understand how to load the files. attached are snapshots of the centroid Xk-24 files menu after unzip. and the error message. The image files are all there in the images folder, but I don't see why mw3.1 would be calling for the image files. The only use I can see for them would be to print them and place them under the caps of the keys, which I have done. Any help in pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

The image files are for labeling the keys as you have already done. The Legends are not for labeling the buttons when you are in macroworks.
If a key is programmed there will be a blue Check, if not programmed it will be blank. I have never seen nor attempted to have images on the buttons when in Macroworks.

As far as I know, XKeys does not have "programmable" images. Key labels are stickers you have to print and stick on the keys. There are some DIY devices with OLED displays on the keycaps https://hackaday.com/2020/12/17/adaptiv ... s-keycaps/, but not XKeys.
Cheers,
Tom
