I have an enco unimat lathe build. I have the drives up and the repeating as well as I can expect for what I am working with.
I want to use one of the relays to turn the 120v AC spindle motor on and off.
I am not looking for speed control ( that is with pullies) or ccw or cw rotation not an option with this lathe. Just on off with M03 and M05 commands
min lathe build AC spindel on off control

the ether1616 manual has examples on how to wire up such a configuration. it would be the same using Acorn outputs.

Re: min lathe build AC spindel on off control
Keith, Thank you
Let me rephrase the question.
I know how to wire the relay to turn the motor on and off.
How do I get that relay to be controlled with M03 and M05 commands? I assume the M03 and M05 are controlling the VFD output on the board.

In the wizard, set the output that the motor is connected to as: "SpinFWD"

Yes. And another set to SpinREV will be controlled by M4 and M5. These are all covered in the manual, it will benefit you to spend some time there.
