You risk problems relying on wire colors, especially on Asian imports. You should match wire functions regardless of colors.

I was going by the drawing S14972. Enable+, Input A+ and Input B+ go to 5V correct?

I noticed the wattage on the resistors is a 1/2 or more. What other wattages would you recommend?

On the servo header it like each pin connects to the motor, a resistor and 5V? how do you make this connection? Pictures?

If you are using the Clearpath cables and the colors are correct then yes, blue, white and black go to 5v. Just follow the wiring diagram wire for wire. Until you get the relay board you can leave the green wire disconnected, you'll still get movement.

Resistor, twist the wire around one leg, solder if you like, trim to length and then insert this end into the proper Acorn header. The other end of the resistor goes to 5V. You can twist a wire around the 5V end, solder and heat shrink over the solder only, not the resistor body. Use 1/2 watt or greater resistors per Centroid diagram. I cannot recommend anything else, use 1/2 watt or greater.

Again, just follow the diagram wire for wire. I really don't know how to make it any clearer for you. I don't have any pics to share with you either, sorry.

So 1W or 2W resistors will also work?
Thanks

Yes, those will work if you can't find 1/2 watt. 2 watt is a fairly large resistor and overkill. Why not order the 1/2 watt you linked to on Amazon?

I used one of these https://www.adafruit.com/product/1609 breadboards to mount the resistors and run one +24VDC source, placed a https://www.adafruit.com/product/2671 header on it and used https://www.adafruit.com/product/826 extension wires from the header to the drive cable ferrule on the terminal connector on the Acorn, stripped the drive cable and extension wire and crimped both in one ferrule.

There are multiple ways to do this, but I found this made the resistors easier to manage with a short jumper to the acorn and I could dress it in to my cable raceway easily.
