I'm glad we were able to help you with suggestions/ideas that helped move you forward.
The best thanks you can give, when are done, is take the time to take a little video of the machine doing it's thing, pan to the control panel showing CNC12 operating and post it to the Success Stories forum.

Continued luck with your project.

Good morning marty.
I have sensors for home on my machine, but it also got limit switches on both sides of the travel, i connected the sensors for automatic homing and they work ok, after each axis seek slowly its sensor it returns back about half inch, my question is with the limit sw. I tried to configure them in series to stop the axis in case one of the sensors fail, but i am confusing in the input wizard, home all, limit all, firstaxishomeok etc. With sensors i used this condiguration on the photo

If you are putting the opposite end of home switches in series for overtravel safety (Please set your soft limits up anyway) use the input LIMITALL
Make sure you are using NC switches in series or it won't work.
What version of CNC12 are you using? You didn't post a fresh report. Latest version is 4.64 and that's what you should be using.

is there any way to change the home distance? lets say now the machine back off about .5 inch from the home sensor, it is possible to change that to lets say 1 or 2 inches? or it is a fixed by edfault?

Why do you want to do that? Please explain and post pictures of the application.

The Homing routine is hard coded and not adjustable.
You could call a move to your desired distance with G code in the .hom file if you really need that.
