Re: DMM DYN4 Spindle Set-up - receiving 1V at power up - voltage drift (solved)
Hi Joe,
I have Relay-4 going to Pin 15 on DYN4.
I have Relay-5 going to PIn 16 on Dyn5. Be aware of the 24v power supply & the resister needed per the diagram from DMM.
I am using Relay-6 to hold back voltage drift, as a spindle brake release.
See attached documents showing my I/O in the Acorn Wizard.
Hope this helps.
Nick

So what did you do with pin 10? And what is relay 6 hooked to? I can get it to reverse or forward just not both so far lol something easy I know

Re: DMM DYN4 Spindle Set-up - receiving 1V at power up - voltage drift (solved)
Joe,
From Acorn Controller, H8 Analog Out is going to Relay-6 Common, its the middle terminal. Then from NO (Normally Open) terminal on the bottom of Relay-6 its going to Pin 13 on DYN4.
Also, from Acorn H8 Analog GND is going straight to DYN4 Pin 25.
I did not do anything special to be able to get reverse or forward, it just worked.
