I made great progress yesterday. I got the e-stop, homing switches, and limit-all switches all sorted out. (Thank you Marty on how to mix my NO and NC overtravel limit switches!) I removed the 2nd PLC on the Z-Axis and landed the DC Power and I/O on terminal blocks. (I'm waiting on an Ether1616 for all the tool change connections.) I checked the Spindle RPMs with a Tach and Acorn sent 24,000 the Spindle turned at 23,995

However, I noticed that when homing the machine - the Y-Axis was really jerky at 10 IPM. It appears to move smoothly at 750 IPM. I feel like this is a tuning issue. How can I tune hardware paired Y1 and Y2??? I am using Yaskawa Sigma II servos and I have the SigmaWin+ software to communicate directly with the drives - but it only connects one at a time. I'm sure there is a way, I just haven't found it yet.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have a master and a slave on the Y axis? Are they both setup identically in the Wizard and the drives? Just a thought...

They are hardware paired, and the parameters in the drives are identical, except for rotation direction.

Perhaps Marc Leonard will chime in or perhaps Keith. I don't experience with Yaskawa drives....yet....
