You could power down the motor power to the spindle DYN4 with a contactor that is controlled by the FWD output of Acorn. As long as the logic is separately powered, seems like it would be a way to get an enable.. Also the DYN4 does have an enable input.. could that be switched with the FWD output of Acorn?

With a contactor, I'm not crazy about the idea to turn the servo drive on & off every time the spindle stops.

Here is my course of action. If one does not work, go to the next one.
1) Try FWD output of Acorn to DYN4 enable input pin 15. I need to run this by the DMM people and see if resistor is need and run in between +24V and DIR+. Or see if they have any other suggestions
2) Diode. Couple people suggested this. I need to find out what is the amperage that is coming from the 0-10V output.
3) Relay configuration
4) Punt and by a machine center. :D

I happy to report the problem has been solved.
- Thanks to all the posted.
- Special thanks to Marty & Slodat for pointing me in the right direction.
- Special thanks to DMM for following up with the suggestion and creating a drawing, which is attached.

FYI, DMM direction for this optional set-up:

Use the DMMDRV program to check the Enable Active Low check box, then power cycle the drive, now the drive is Disabled when powered so it will not rotate with any analog input voltage.

- Connect FWD output to Enable input per attached diagram.
- When FWD command is given, it enables the drive and drive starts analog speed operation

This is the reason I chose Centroid and DMM, for tough weeks like this and the support that was given.

are you using to relay board or just oc5? do you have a pic?

Always use a relay board. It has dry contacts.
Any special drive from DMM needs to be specified at time of order. They don't automatically have the firmware in them for spindle operation.

Will be a little trickier. Are you running Dyn4 on 120vac or 240vac?
It is my understanding that Dyn4 will max out at 3000rpm @120vac and about 5.5krpm at 240vac

I believe you have to use the DMMDRV software to establish the max RPM when you supply 10vdc.

I'll he testing this soon, but not likely before I leave on vacation.

dyn4 on 240vac and yes 3000 is max for the 1.8kw and at 2000 rpm its crazy fast lol. one thing i was wondering is there a way to ramp up and down the speed cause its instant full speed and slows same way pretty violent seams stressful on belt. I have the chuck running commanded speed by setting the max speed in cnc 12 basically fooling it but my worry is will this effect thread cutting and taping? or will it be ok, because the encoder shows the speed of the servo drive witch is different then the chuck speed.

Hey guys just an update,

I added the new relay board and the drifting started come back. I even tried a diode, it only made the spindle rotate faster.

So here is the solution that worked and its proving to be solid solution so far, using the new relay board from Centroid:
Relay 4 - Spindle FWD
Relay 5 - Spindle Reverse
Relay 6 - Spindle Release Brake

Therefore, I'm using Relay-6 to control Analog out 0-10V pin13. No drift, till Centroid activates Spindle Brake Release.

I ended up putting an auxiliary panel, the things that experience teaches us. Here is a picture:
