Sounds like someone is making a really cool model DC-3.

Maybe, but the Germans had the BMW801 14 Cylinder radial at this time.

I will ask the customer what he is building. By the way the customer is a hard core manual machining guy, nothing is better than old Schaublin ect...
... till he figured out 28 high precision parts are a PITA with manual machining

Now some senseless air moves, senseless cutting will be next

But I am quite happy how it is working right now.

So far so good :D

Still need to make the adaptor plate for BC orientation.

I will be really pleased if this is milling some useful parts after the TCP update from centroid

The video on YouTube is really cool of the 5 axis in motion. I am anxiously awaiting a video of it actually making parts. Watching a 5 axis machine doing it's thing is mesmerizing. I've watched some of the videos of Centroid's 5 axis automotive machines. Very cool stuff. In my head I think doing the CAM must be very difficult. What will you use for the CAM Uwe?

I am using Fusion 360 for CAD/CAM
With a modern CAM and machine simulation 5 axis is not that difficult, but still expensive...
