Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
Probe tripped is another input than Probe detect.
Is input 7 changing its state if the probe is plugged in?

Yes, see original screenshots.
Probing routine quits back to main screen when I disconnect the probe.
Are you saying I have to wire in another input because of the software upgrade?

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
If you are activating a new feature that requires an input yes.
You can also try to disable all probe protection in the wizard.

Not activating a new feature.
Screenshot shows all probe protection is disabled but still not working

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
yes, same here v5.22. (but only when using swissi probe app)
Other hand, had a similar issue with my TT in v5.2, after changing a limit input in the wizard & save...TT was triggering in the plc but not when doing a tool length offset. (caused by my keyboard layout...BE ??? ...finally got my an US English one)
(work around> com to input probe detect, but then you have to toggle the input after probing)
Should be solved in the 5.24 release. Thx Swissi

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
pretty sure i got your same setup the same on my test rig and i'm running v5.24 and i don't see this issue.
I have a touch probe with no detect and it opens the input when triggered and the probing cycles work.
i'll post a public v5.24 release candidate hopefully later today, please give it a try and let me know.

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
Ok. I upgraded to V5.22 (couldn't see where to find V5.24).
Still the same issue.
I note that when "probe detect" is chosen in the input settings (input 7 in this case) the input has disappeared in the probing page!!
Maybe this is the source of the "cant detect probe..." error when a probing routine is chosen?
"Probe tripped" wont work either although input 7 shows in the probing page.
See attachments

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
No ProbeTripped input results in no input on the Touch Probe Configuration, that is logically i.O.

Re: Probe not working in Acorn V5.20
Not sure what you mean.
Can I repeat my original stanza. (See original screenshots)
My probe worked all probing routines in V4.82. Input 7 and was shown in the Touch Probe config and "probe tripped" was the selection in "Input definitions".
ONLY change was to upgrade CNC12 to V5.20.
Diagnostics show switching on input7 (probe tripped) in both V5.20 and V5.22 which suggest acorn can see it, but still no resolution.
