The board is with differential line driver but not with encoder feedback from the servos.

You can use differential line drivers on Acorn or ready from Centroid Acorn Six with the RS422 Differential Drive Output and Scout Expansion Interface Board

with the Delta's (or any other AC servo) Acorn is running in Hybrid Closed Loop. the drive closes the loop!

8 years ago, we ran Acorn on a machining center with AC servos on each axis and put a ball bar on it and ran various high speed circle tests and compared it to the same machine running the same motors/drives with Oak in full closed loop mode. the results were impressive, Acorn hybrid closed loop (the drives closing the loop) running at 400,000 steps per second on a 300 ipm 8 inch circle was keeping up with the Oak running full closed loop mode with out of bounds errors below the machine tool accuracy. conclusion Acorn with AC servos = great performance. and added position reliability with the diff board as well.
