I have them in the same mode as sigma 5s. Puls sign negative logic

I actually decided to tear everything out that i have done so far. To back track. And then i connected only one drive to acorn to isolate. And still nothing. The drive shows run on display as soon as i command motion and it holds position but no movement im stumped. Either the acorn isent generating pulses. Or its a yaskawa issue...

You may have already checked all of these things but:

How exactly are they wired? The Sigma II manual I found says that they accept up to 12V for the pull up when using open collector outputs.

Are the position error clear inputs connected to anything? If not, then are they set such that they will not be active when open circuit? I believe that would be setting P200 1 to 0 or 1.

What about CN1 pin 41 (P-CON)? Is that wired to anything and is it set as reference pulse inhibit by Pn000 1? Are the forward and reverse run inputs (P-OT, N-OT) on pins 42 and 43 handled appropriately?

They are set up mostly the same as the recommended way to set up the sigma 5 tech bulletin As I said before I had the same drivre working on another machine they work wonderful over a year

Right, and we have no idea how the other machine was configured nor how the drives are currently wired to the Acorn. Please post pictures/diagrams of the wiring.

Agreeable. But assuming I have done one machine that works perfectly fine.I would think following that would be okay. Once I get the machine back together , I will see what happens

I have a update.. i fixed some wiring and changed the drive connection cables to shielded. And now it will only travel in one direction regardless of direction command. And thats only on X axis drive 1 output. Y Z 4th dont work at all. And appears 5th works in one direction as well i understand this is likely a tough situation. And help would be appreciated. Or am i likely best to ship it back for testing?

running in one direction is usually a wiring error
