Re: New build Sherline Lathe and Mill
report shows them still set to -5
create a photo album. like this.
post link to album here on your build thread.
you can post photos and videos to a google photo album
examples... Marty, Kai and I have been using google photo albums for this.. here is an example.
We can not stress enough the importance of PHOTOS. PHOTOS and Videos are key to us being able to see what you see. Post a description and photos of the machine tool and all its cnc controlled accessories. Picture is worth a thousand words and clears up misunderstanding instantly. The best way is to use a free online photo album service like Google Photos. Upload large high resolution images to the Google Photos, create an Album, put all your photos in one album and click "share" and then "get link" and copy the link it generates and post in your thread, then any one with the link can view the photos.
You can post photos directly to the forum using the Attachment tab. but we would prefer you us a online photo album and post the link to it so all your images will be in one spot, not spread over a bunch of posts..having all the photos in one location makes it easier for all to understand your project and give you good advice.
- Include Screen Shots.
Press CTRL P in the Wizard, it will create a PDF of all the Wizard screen settings.
or
Make them with the built-in free Windows Snipping Tool to show us exactly what you are seeing. Here is a video showing how to do this.

Re: New build Sherline Lathe and Mill
I received my CNC Intercon Key ,and it appears l am in demo mode. I have reinstalled the lathe and mill CNC offline,
I moved the USB from the front panel to the back of the computer, still does not work.I can hear a windows acknowledgement sound no matter what port I Plug it into.

Re: New build Sherline Lathe and Mill
the USB key allows Intercon programming offline more than 20 lines.
the screen shots posted are of the offline CNC12 software, nothing is wrong there, i'll update this screen to be more clear in the next version. thanks.

Re: New build Sherline Lathe and Mill
yes i understand.
the word hardware key on that screen is not referring to the USB key. i understand the confusion.
open Intercon with the USB key plugged in and it will allow you to program more than 20 lines.
there is currently no indicator in CNC12 that an Intercon USB key is present.
I will change that offline CNC12 menu to something like this.
