I'm not sure if anyone else looked at your report but your X and Y axis revs/in are outside the "sweet spot" for a router. Are you sure they are correct? 1.0189 for your X axis and .6366 for your Y axis are not good. If they indeed correct you need some gear reduction on your machine. Have a look at this post from Keith.

Hi Shawn,
Yes, I am aware of this. They are correct, and would like to get those revs/in higher. My machine does run smooth however I am having an issue that I can't seem to track down and I don't know if this would be a contributing factor or not. It is a rack and pinion machine. I get these vibrations on circles at around the 10, 2, 4 and 8 o'clock positions.
I can feel these vibrations even when cutting air (no Load)
Otherwise the machine cuts great. I have wondered if 5-1 gear reduction would help out with this issue. I can't seem to find and planetary nema34 gearboxes that have a .5" input and output shaft.
Any thoughts?

If you are running a pinion gear "straight up" on a stepper motor, gear reduction will help immensely. Here is one that I use often for NEMA34 motors. Dont forget to order a 14mm to 1/2" bushing for the input shaft. (related items)

As Gary stated, a gearbox would help immensely. There are dozens of gearboxes out there with 1/2" output shafts and bushings to help if needed. Let Google help you find one in your budget.

They are not straight up. I am using a 2:1 belt reduction on the y axis and a 3.2:1 belt reduction on the x axis, this is what I had setup coming from mach3, but I know it should be higher. That is of course why the rev/in is different on the x axis as opposed to the y. I would like to eventually eliminate the belts and just use the gear reduction for both x and y.

yeah, get a planet box on those as soon as you can, makes huge difference.

and near the bottom the L command is the speed in inches per minute or mm/min

G53 X0 L50
GOTO 1000

N700 ;Cleared Position of Tool (Based on Clearance Axis)
G53 X0 L50

Hello,
So I did go into those macros, changed all the L50 to L200, saved all of them. Worked great until a power down and restart then they all reverted back to the L50 ipm. Trying to figure out why.

did you hit "write setting to cnc control" in the wizard? the wizard generates these macros so if you did, it overwrote your custom tweaks.
in v5.04 we broke out the fork engage and disengage speed so it not hard coded in the macro any more. now you can set it in the wizard.

Ok, thank Keith, that is probably what happened since after I edited them I probably wrote settings for something else in the wizard. Makes sense.
So is 5.04 a release candidate or new release. I did not see a link for it yet that I noticed. Also can I use restore report for 5.04?

bill, i'll send you the latest Release candidate so you can test with it.
no on using restore report. this will overwrite parameter settings and since the software has new features it would break them.

restore report only works within the same version.

for instance v4.82 report works with v4.82

v5.02 report work with v5.02

the report is not designed for updating a system. it is designed to Restore a system (such as installing a new PC on a cnc machine, replacing a failed Hard drive etc) or an easy way to copy CNC config/machine settings to another like/identical machine using same version of CNC12.

in v5.20 we will add a "import report" feature into the wizard, the wizard will strip out the old good data and combine it with the new, effectively becoming a way to update to a new version of CNC12 software with an old report.zip.
