"unknown hardware failure" < windows page file size>

Post by RoxanaPS »

I have gotten this message two times now in a row. The CNC is stopped dead and the VCP is gone. The DRO side is still on the screen but the VCP is gone and the Windows taskbar will not pop up but is kind of flashing on and off at the bottom of the screen but doesn't pop up when I move the mouse to the bottom of the screen. I am sure it has something to do with the Acorn software since the VCP has shut down but not the DRO side of the Acron software.

Thanks for the link. Before your post, I actually looked up the same info and increased the file size. So good so far.

Brand new DELL, well beyond minimum requirements. Shawn from this forum helped me pick it out so I had the right stuff.

great glad the hardware is up to speed, looks like the Windows settings need to be scrutinized.

Yeah. I used the guide again to verify all windows settings. Not sure why the paging file acted up.
