Would you mind elaborating on how this seal would be constructed?suntravel wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 1:09 am I would build an adapter with a seal around the 11 to 19mm coupling.
VR Radial lip seals are ok for this purpose.

Also.. does anyone know what the two switches are for?
I’m assuming the pneumatic line and valve is a brake of some sort?

The lower one (with COM, NC and NO terminals) is probably the homing switch.
The upper one (round) is probably a clamp-confirmation pressure switch.

Marc and Uwe - thank you!!
I'm looking at this motor and drive. Looks like it will physically fit in the space and is 1,700oz-in closed loop.

depends on the application.. if you are going to mount an engine block on the rotary table and start hogging it out you need a 750. if you are going to rotate a 2" block of aluminum and engrave on it, a 400 watt will work just fine.slodat wrote: ↑Thu Feb 09, 2023 1:14 am Why does it need such a large servo? That’s nearly double the shaft size. I don’t know enough about the load and such to make sense of a one horse power motor powering this. There’s substantial gear reduction and there’s no way the existing motor has that much power on tap… is it because it’s a DC servo or something? I’d love to understand this aspect.

Keith - thank you! That makes a lot of sense.
