No. I don't have any use for it at the moment. Just bought it to test it out.

Re: OMRON E6B2-CWZ1X Encoder Unboxining and Overview
I finally got my Chinese Omron clone encoder in...took a while but it made it. I connected it to a DB9 breakout board...super easy to get working and it seems to work well! My orange wires were yellow, just as Marty's were. I haven't opened it up yet but from the outside, it looks okay. The cable has a weird chemical smell to it that stinks up my work area. I've been noticing that most, if not all, the Chinese stuff I've bought has weird plastic that emits an unpleasant odor...yuck.
Anyway, I plan to use the encoder on my mini lathe. I'll have to figure out how to get it mounted and am hoping Franco shows back up here with some stuff I can print out and use.
