Hi community, I have checked CncSkinningDocumentation but few things are still not clear to me.
I understood that the original cnc 12 mill must run parallel with my own UI but it still brings me back to the Original Main window when I click a button in VCP(which is not desirable). Is there a way to stop the application from doing that? Basically I want to fully replace the Original UI with my own which is designed to be fit on my screen while preserving functionalities. I would like the interface similar to how the original cnc12 mill looks in widescreen in 4:3 touch screen monitor( no keyboard). Having VCP is must and ability to load Gcode and configure the parameter are also must.
I would like use my GUI with original VCP is preferable but I dont want original main windows.
Lastly, I would appreciate it if you could provide me with more examples of how to use the Skinning Api for example F2 button which load the file. One of the argument pass to the function is working directory of cnc12 which I thought where executable is located but not to sure. And implementation of other functionalities.
Sorry for many questions, thanks in advance

Re: Skin UI for 4:3 screen
On the pc requirements page for the Acorn one of the items reads:
c.) A Touch Screen LCD display. 16:9 aspect with 1920x1080 resolution works best for use with the Centroid on screen Virtual Operator Control Panel. 4:3 monitors will NOT work with the on screen VCP operator controls.
Not quite sure what you are trying to accomplish but I think you are over complicating the issue. There are many members using a 16:9 touch screen monitor with great success. You can customize the VCP to look just about any way you want.

Re: Skin UI for 4:3 screen
Hi, I appreciate your reply but using 4:3 touch screen monitor is one of the constraints and I cant change it at the moment. While VCP is resizable main Windows is fixed size and it takes up too much of screen which overlap VCP which I am ok(as long as VCP is the foreground). However, VCP goes background when one of key is pressed which is the problem for me.ShawnM wrote: ↑Tue Jun 29, 2021 3:22 pm On the pc requirements page for the Acorn one of the items reads:
