please see the Tool Touch Off schematic i attached (S14822) in my previous post. and connect the tool touch off device as shown. Probe trigger connects to input 7 (and if you are using it probe detect connects to input 6 and set accordingly with wizard.) and then use the wizard to set input 7 to "Probe Tripped" and press write to cnc control configuration as shown in previous post and you will be good to go. updated legacy schematic attached as well.

I noted probe input detect is such a simple circuit. It just closes the circuit at the probe done by a "stereo" jack. When the input jack is pushed into the probe a circuit closes and tells the control a probe is being used and NOT to let the spindle turn on (if controlled by Acorn) A simple and excellent safety feature and should be used. (Beevo, your probe wouldn't have gone flying )
