Keyboard Jog Key Assignment

Post by Rob Carnell »

I have a lathe, and I find the keyboard arrow keys not at all intuative.

I cant seem to find anything in the Wizard to do this.

Can I change the assignment of the keys for example:

Left Arrow to Z-
Right Arrow to Z+
Up arrow to X-
Down Arrow to X+

In just a short while you will be able to do that. It is being beta tested now and will be out with the next release. Soon, the Virtual Control Panel will be fully customizable!
Cheers,

If you are talking about the keyboard jogging (and not the virtual control panel) then it should already be as you describe, except that you apparently have front-mounted tools (X+ down), so you should set Parameter 1 = 3.

If that doesn't work, then post a Report so we can see what is missing from your PLC program.
