Does anyone know if the auto z and corner finding touch plate from avid cnc would be compatible with acorn? http://www.cncrouterparts.com/auto-z-a ... p-288.html

Just about any N/O or even N/C touch plate will work. You'll just need a proper macro to use it and set it up properly in the wizard. Depending on your machine you may not need the alligator clip for the bit, my spindle is grounded to the chassis and does not have ceramic bearings so any tool in the spindle is already grounded and I do not need the extra clip for the bit.
