Replaceing Eding control with Centriod Acorn Controller
I'm new to this group and purchased a Centroid Acorn control. I talked to CNCKeith and he pointed me to this location and told me there is a lot of fellow peeps who can help me out with the conversion. I bought a Microkinetics 1236 Lathe, and it came with a Eding control made in Netherlands. Then after trying to learn it and not happy. I wanted to replace it with what I have on my V2XT Bridgeport CNC Knee Mill, which has All In One Control on it, so I went ahead and bought a Centroid Acorn to replace it with. I will take a lot of pre pictures and post pictures of work in progress. My Cell number is 216 526 8103. My name is Lou... here is link to https://photos.app.goo.gl/jhms1vhuU2v4xgc18

Create a photo album for your lathe. Take pictures of it, the current control cabinet, make and model of the axis drives/motors. If you can find schematics/manuals, post a link here or scan them and post them as .pdf.
We can try and help. More information, the better the help.

Great choice! You will be happy in the end. Those are nice little lathes too.
