Today I noticed that the MPG spin control will control my spindle speed even when spindle is in AUTO.
It don't matter if you are in spindle AUTO or spindle MANUAL, it will still have spindle control.
I don't think this is by design, and I did not find it reported earlier.
If you have an MPG then please test this just to make sure it is not only my system doing this.
Report attached.
Thanks,
MPG Spin control ALWAYS active. <clarified>

Re: MPG Spin control ALWAYS active.
Is your selector knob in SPINdle? If so, this is correct. You can override your spindle speed if desired during a cut, just like Feedrate override....KD5FZX wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 7:25 pm Today I noticed that the MPG spin control will control my spindle speed even when spindle is in AUTO.

Marty,
Thanks for clarifying the intended function.
Yes it was in SPINdle when I noticed it.
All OK, and thanks.
