HURCO VMX 40 with Oak and Yaskawa SigmaII drive

Post by FranzAZP »

Buongiorno a tutti,

we just finished testing a HURCO VMX 40, which had the original control no longer working.

We used the OAK Board, 2 add 1616 and kept the original Yaskawa drives.

SigmaII drives have been set up in Velocity Mode.

The Swingarm tool changer is pneumatic.

The electrical connections to the machine have been kept as faithful as possible to the original, in Europe there are several constraints with the CE certification.

Here are some pic.
