Turn any cnc mill into a lathe: Successful Mill-Turn. CNC12 Lathe on milling machine, no hardware changes

I posted a youtube video explaining how I went about this. Id like to figure out a way to add some sort of switch to go back and forth, vs swapping the step and direction inputs around.. if anyone has any ideas.

This should work on anyone's milling machine, Enjoy.

I've seen users install a manual switch box to swap drive axes cables for stuff like this.

What about using Y to change position so multiple tools are available? There are some great videos about doing this but I haven't seen it using Acorn.
Erik Colvin has a great video that shows what I'd like to do https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7EOENs38kCo
