DIY CNC Router recontrolled from MACH 3 to Acorn

Post by Chris D »

Greetings,

I have been posting in the Acorn section about an Automatic Tool Change System I created for my CNC Router. I just posted a video that covers a lot of the details of the router that has been a work in progress for over 15 years. If you like tinkering with your CNC Router, I suspect you may find some useful bits of information in this video.
Most importantly, there is an explanation why I abandoned MACH 3 and switched to Centroids Acorn controller. Take a look at the video (sorry, it is long but covers a lot of concepts and ideas) and I hope you find some useful information within it.

Thanks for taking the time to let me "show off" a bit.
