As I had already changed to a bigger motor [...]
Can you link to what motor did you use? Thanks.
Was just a cheap 56C inverter rated motor I found on eBay used. I didn’t seek out a specific motor model.

I am planning to upgrade to a 2HP 3-phase motor plus a VFD, and would like to know what bearing sizes does one need to replace the stock ones?

The exploded view in the manual on the precision Matthews website has all the bearing part numbers listed.

I don’t remember them all. I’d reference that. Make sure you order high quality bearings.

I have been ignoring this mill for the most part for the last 8 months or so. I got a Sharp 2412 proper mill and have been using it exclusively. I recently moved the Precision Matthews mill to my shop and have begun the process of rebuilding it: new enclosure, new touchscreen, doing a new oiling system, new way covers, etc. I will post some pictures when its back up and running!

Excited to have this at the shop and have a second mill to do smaller off jobs and whatnot.
