With the Acorn, Fusion360 and a HIGHLY modified Taig mill.
Nice. Can we see an overview of the mill and maybe running a part showing the control?

You know, I need to make a larger fixture plate that uses Mitee Bite clamps, perhaps I will make a video of that. Outstanding to see the little guy doing its thing. What did you modify from its stock configuration? Axis motors/drives, spindle motor/drive, etc...

It has a new base and column that is a steel weldment and much larger, that I purchased from a home shop guy that sells them on the Taig Facebook group, and a R8 spindle for TTS tooling, sold by another gentleman from the same group. Looks like its doing quite well!
The mill was purchased ready to accept steppers or servos. I removed the stock motor, put a 1/3HP 3 phase motor on it, driven by a VFD hooked into the Acorn. Gecko G540 is the stepper driver, running at 48v. This Saturday it should also have the WMPG hooked up.

I don't know how to really use CNC12 to its fullest. Every time I make an adjustment, I do it in Fusion, generate new code, try again. I'm sure CNC12 has features that would greatly simplify my life.
