G0602 conversion with DMM servo spindle

Post by DanielCA92563 »

Finally got around to finishing my G0602 CNC conversion. Everything seems to be working well. I used BDtools G0602 conversion kit for the ball screws and nuts to save time and that it definitely did.

I used a 1KW DMM servo for the spindle, works well for threading so far. Servos I used were all DMM:
1Kw 11A-DST-A6HK1
DYN4 AC Servo Drive DYN4-H01A2-00
DYN2-TLA6S-00 AC Servo Drive DYN2-TLA6S-00
NEMA23 Frame Servo, 0.4kW, 60V Class, D-Cut Shaft 57N-DHT-A6TD1

Here's a video of it cutting a 3/8-14 thread in 303 stainless
