Yup. I ordered the yoke from Hiwin as well. If you order both ballscrews and the yoke at the same time, you get a 20% discount. It's not really a kit as there is no documentation other than the inspection reports included. It's assumed you already know how to properly install and align the screws. That said, the parts installed perfectly.

The only other source I know of for ballscrew yokes was Elrod Machine and he recently sold out to Servo Products. Tried contacting them by email and voice multiple times and finally got through. They were completely clueless about any of the Elrod products. Pity, I do like Servo Products power feeds for the Bridgeport. Almost a year later and they finally have an announcement on their homepage, but no other information, and most of the other links on their site are broken. It's a shame. It used to be a good company.
Cheers,

Tom

How did you do the Z axis?

As for Servo, well, like most other companies, I might wager that the SERVO brand we knew and respected, likely got bought out and the name is being used. (Chinese company?) An assumption on my part.

Tom, thanks for taking the time to share your experience and help others on the Centroid forums.
I wished I had the servo motor you needed for your ROTAB. I don't have anything that small. You might consider a separate power supply feeding your DC1 so you can use servo motor that may be more common.

For the Z axis, I bought a ballscrew from Elrod just before he sold to Servo. It was going to be a custom order from Hiwin with a long lead time from Taiwan.

Servo still has offices in OH, but, like you, I'd bet at best they are assembled in the USA from China components. As far as the rotary table goes, I don't have room in the control cabinet for another transformer and cap board.
Cheers,

Tom
