So far my only issue is that I am not getting my full rpms. I should be getting 3000 but I am getting about 2280. It is either I am using 110V on a 220V controller or I still have to figure out "electric gearing"

Servo motors are particular about tuning. I would fit a 3 phase motor and use a VFD. I personally tried the DMM servo a spindle motor and I wasn't satisfied with the performance. Seems to me, folks are trying to take the easy way out and use the encoder on the spindle motor so they can rigid tap. M...
