Re: Show me your Custom VCP's!

part 2 vcp video didn't get made, been busy working on plasma.. but everything i would have covered in a part 2 VCP video is in the excellent VCP manual. https://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_di ... manual.pdf Keith I downloaded that and have been reading it. I can not seem to find any or the mfunc.m...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thank you Marc once again. I moved the switch back to trigger the arm when in back gear and inputted -.125 and it functions perfect. I was under the assumption it needed to stay closed as the schematic shows N/C . No big deal. I also re-belted the x pulley 1/2 turn and that squashed the encoder too ...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thanks Marc. I was close. I had .125 not -.125. Yes input 13 changes on the real-time I/O display . In the schematic it shows the switch N/C. I have it closed for high. I could remount the switch to trigger low. That is how it was and I moved it. What I am asking is on the main screen does anything ...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thanks Guy. I did try them but they could not guarantee vendor source. I went with the megadyne. They seem like good quality belts. Well the machine is running and moving on it's own power! Everything seems to be working so far. Every servo was giving a stall error. I did have to reverse the motor l...

Re: Show me your Custom VCP's!

Thanks guys for the input. I am still just getting my beak wet with the control. I setup as much as I could on the bench before I mounted it in the cabinet. That way I know it all worked on the table cables and all. I just finished wiring the cabinet and fired it up on monday. No SMOKE! I am in the ...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Ordered Gates belts. Out of stock. Apparently Gates is experiencing unprecedented raw material and supply chain lead time issues.
They offered a Megadyne sub.
Are they good belts or should I try and look around some more for gates old stock.

Thanks

Jeff

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thank you Marc once again. I will try that out this week. My mind said to do they exact same thing, I just wanted to make sure I was thinking correctly. You said input 14 , but the schematics show input 7. I also opened the PLC that I loaded to make sure that I could use output 6 for the air solenoi...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Cabinet lit off fine tonight. All voltages look good. Spindle turns as it should. I did order some new gates 9257 series powergrip belts. There were not many options without changing the sprockets. I am now waiting for centroid to send me the cable so I can wire up the rotary table. If anyone can an...

Re: Milltronics MB24

Thank you marc. Inverting the float did the trick. Cabinet is all wired and cleaned up. 20210925_160309.jpg I am going to fire it up tomorrow and check voltages to make sure everything is ok. Then it time to pull the servo cables in and connect them. So far going pretty smooth. I did deviate from th...
