I see that you powered acorn via a separate power supply. Any particular reason for that? I have been planning on using a 5amp 24v power supply for all of my power needs including the power hub and relay coils.

I don’t believe this is supported with the acorn. The acorn cannot take any positional input from an axis at all. I would think you would need a controller that can read the encoder feedback of servo systems directly. Maybe centroid can say if this is possible on their higher end servo control boards.
