Re: Modification of Ajax DM45
Ok, I guess I’m on my own with this one, unless someone wants to speak up.

Re: Ajax DM-45 Spindle Bearings
Hey Jeff, I've attached the pictures of the spindle removal. At the top end of the spindle there is a tab washer that you need to bend the tab on. Then you can tap the nut loose and remove. The inner cone of the bearing should come right out. The other end where the tool holder would go has a nut re...

Re: Modification of Ajax DM45
Sorry pressing the speed buttons up and down on the the jog panel. It runs in mdi only one speed. Increasing the speed by changing S does nothing. You can program M4 and it reverses but runs at the same speed.

Modification of Ajax DM45
In between doing a bunch of other things, I changed out the headstock and motor on my Ajax DM45. I am using a Teco L510. I upgraded to CNC12. Before finishing I want to resolve an issue I have. I can run the spindle motor forward and reverse from the control and I can change the speed manually, but ...

Re: Ajax DM-45 Spindle Bearings
I might be able to help you with this, since I took the headstock off mine and made a new one. I have the quill on a cart and I'll take some pics tomorrow if I have time, otherwise Thursday.

Re: Axis jogging wrong
Hey Marty,
I really didn't have a big problem getting the servo going, but once I did, I changed my mind. I felt that I would be under utilizing the DMM servo. So I bought a motor from your Italian stallion company TVT America. Looks good, but time will tell.

Re: Dip Switch settings
Yes, that’s exactly what I need. I need to set it to +/-10v. This would allow me to reverse direction. I’ll look again to see if I overlooked the information.

Re: Dip Switch settings
Thanks, but I have all of those. Either I'm over looking the dip switch settings or there non-existent in the documentation. Now before anyone notes that the manual shows the dip switch, the one shown has to do with servo amp setting. Nothing on the others. Who knows the information could be on the ...

Dip Switch settings
This is for an ALL-IN-ONE board.
Maybe someone could direct me to documentation showing dip switch location numbers, what each switch does, and the corresponding settings.
I must be blind, but I can't find it anywhere.
