When I hook my ohm meter up to it I get nothing through it basically touching each side of the resistor I’m not sure if I need to send power through it and then read the power coming out of it I guess I can YouTube how to measure resistors but yes I’ve worked on small electronic circuit boards like ...

Yeah I’m not sure I can find five 147 on resistors but they’re film filled and they look nothing like the one I’m trying to replace I’m not sure if that’s a problem. At this point for the cost I’ll probably just buy them and try to solder went on and see what happens

OK I’m pretty sure at least I’m thinking that if I replace this Resistor I may be able to fix the VFD

OK I need a little help hiding this resistor in the picture so that I can purchase a new one and solder it back onto my VFD board in hopes that it repairs it Long story short I bought a brake resistor off Amazon hooked it up to the terminals on my Delta VFD where I thought the brake resistor plugged...

Also just ordered my brake resistor so I can set up dynamic braking

Little update y’all spindle is moving in forward and reverse under Akorn control I still have some configurations to do the speed of my machine home is way too fast that needs to be adjusted I also need to set up my limit switches in my encoder and we should be good to go

A little project update the machine is up and running and I have the spindle turning controlled by CNC 12 in forward motion still trying to figure out reverse for some reason. Big thanks to Ann Arbor Nate for helping me finish up the wiring and the settings on the VFD to get the spindle up and running
