Finally got my steps worked out in mm mode, the ole divide steps per mm / steps per rev didn't work. Probably did that wrong. Anyway, I managed to use Marty's spreadsheet (thanks Marty!!) and now it is much better. Instead of my calculation of 135.812 / 3200 = 0.0424413 the correct number is closer ...

Thanks for that, I see now it does a double touch off. All I need now is a faster Z move for a little bit, then go into fast jog then slow jog. The distance to my fixed touch off is about 6 inches from Z Zero, just wanting to speed that up a bit.....

Well I am suitably impressed..... that air cut just took 1:41, 50 minutes faster than LinuxCNC using Mesa 5i25 and 7i76 cards. With a little more tuning I'll probably be able to better that. Yes single phase 240V. Brown = hot, Blue = neutral, Green = Earth. I have a number of relays in the control box I can feed 24V to activate.

Don't want to blow up another Acorn board, my wallet already hurts

Pretty much got all the parameter changes done on the VFD, just need to wire them all up and find out of it works
