Thanks for your diagnostic suggestion. Once I had the other WMPG-4 connected, it controlled both the machine and the DRO consistently and precisely. Guess I need a new WMPG-4 pendant.
Thanks again Jacob.
Happy New Year

WMPG-4 Pendant Issues
Greetings, I am having issues with an WMPG-4 Pendant on one of my machines with an Acorn control. The encoder wheel is no longer moving each axis as commanded. I can rotate the dial several clicks and nothing happens. If I move it quickly, it responds but not accurately. I've turned it in the positi...

Re: Torch Tip Touch Off Failure
Shawn I think you were correct. I'm not sure why. Before I performed my last test, I upgraded to V6.22r2. I made a cursory check to make certain that all my settings came thru when I loaded my most recent report. Upon checking this morning, the inputs and outputs didn't copy. After adjusting them, I...

Torch Tip Touch Off Failure
Greetings, My Acorn plasma is doing everything right but touching off. Neither in the Test Run Automatic Touch Off Cycle nor the Torch_Calibration.cnc. When I attempt to run an automatic touch off, input 9 is triggered as soon as my grounded plate is touched. Yet he torch continues going down anothe...

Thanks Keith.
Had I read the manual before posting, I could have saved you the trouble and me the embarrassment.
Thanks
Rich

Power Supplies for plasma transmit and receive boards.
Greetings, The Acorn Plasma Package came with two boards (THC_TX_200921 and THC_RX 210721) and a 24VDC Meanwell power supply. The schematics show the TCH_RX 210721 board powered by the same power supply as the Acorn board and the THC_TX_200921 powered by the supplied Meanwell PS. I had planned on po...

Re: Macro for Z axis part zero and TT1
Interesting!
If #150 = #4120, what is or where is #4120.
Is #4120 just a parking space for a variable?

Re: Macro for Z axis part zero and TT1
Variable #150 had us scratching our heads. I worked on this with my son Oliver. He has a graduate degree in electrical engineering and writes code for a living. I couldn't have done it without his help. #150 was clearly the code that our tool change M6 used to identify the current loaded tool. Yet t...

Re: Macro for Z axis part zero and TT1
Thank you Gary Campbell, CNCSW, and ShawnM for your thoughts. We were able resolve the issue by add a few lines of code at the end of Scott Pratt's "mfunc6JogToToolTouchOff-tt1.mac." Now, after qualifying all the tools offsets and after qualifying the surface with this macro, all tools in ...
