Re: All In One bench test
Yeah, we worked on it over the phone. Its not spelled out in the manual clearly. The dip switches are suppose to be set at Centroid to 0-10v but it must have been missed or bumped in shipping. I am adding a troubleshooting tip to check them in the Install manual.

Re: All In One bench test
We found the issue to be the Analog DAC dip switchs were set incorrectly. When set to Up, down, up, down, up for 0-10Volt, the Analog out worked correctly.
This can be found on page 109 of the manual.

Re: All In One bench test
Are you sure you have it set to 0-10 and not -10 to +10? Edit to add: Thought over this and -10 to 10 wouldn't make sense either but you should check the dip switches anyway. Leave the spindle bench test. In MDI, type M3 S0. what voltages do you get? Try M3 S3000 and M3 S1500. What voltages do you g...

That makes sense now that you mention it. Thank you.

Re: Still struggling to get hand wheels operational.
What's the PLC have to do with handwheels. It should just be parameters. Do you see the handwheel encoder counts in the PID menu?
I think the PLC is just for the Joy stick inputs that are on the Centroid handwheels.

Re: AC power input current protection for the CAPboard
15amp with 14 gauge wire is standard on the allin1dc. Use slow blow fuse or breaker for surge capacity. D curve sounds right.

Modify the below line. Change S2000 to S300 and try again.
G50 S2000 ; max CSS spindle speed

Re: threading issues
Run the spindle a little and see if the encoder Index pulse remains where you marked on your spindle. The issue has to be with the index pulse, either mechanical or electrical. Do dry runs of the program, then go back to the PID menu and check again.

Re: Acorn relay board
Search for reversing contactor. This is two contactors connected together. Only one can operate at a time. If one is active, it blocks the other one. I recently bought a Used 24VDC controlled reversing contactor to replace the worn out reversing switch on a AC motor for my lathe. Mine is a SIEMENS R...
