Clearpath SDSK-3411D-RLN motors for sale
IMG_1220 2.jpg I have two of these motors. They were used in a conversion of a ShopBot router. They always worked perfectly and are in excellent condition. Slight tool marks on the face of one of them does not show when that are mounted and does not affect the operation. This was a hobby machine an...

Re: Z axis stalls out
After reading your posts I realized that a part of the Z track was impossible to clean without taking the whole thing apart. I have removed the Z axis from the machine and taken it apart. Wow, what a dirty mess! I have high hopes for this!

Re: Z axis stalls out
Gary The Tecknic manual talks about the 24 V supply and says that the motor will fault out below 18V. The very first things I did were to clean the rack and tracks and put fresh grease on. Another autotune is a good idea. I will do that. I put about a 3 pound weight on the axis last time I id it, wh...

Z axis stalls out
For the past month I have been having a problem with my Z axis. I am trying to cut a table leg with the rotary axis and what will happen is that the Z axis, sometime during the program, will stop moving, give a 4 blink yellow code and the other moving axis which is the X axis will ruin the piece. He...

how to stop and re-start a job.
I have been attending to other chores on the router and it has brought up a question I have had for some time.
If I want to stop a job and restart I can use tool check.
But how do I stop a job, shut down the computer, restart the computer and pick up where I left off?

Clearpath resistor placement
I think I am having a static problem on one of my axis. A message on this board led me to page 49 of the Clearpath users manual. The first PdF of this post shows the drawing in the clearpath manual on where to place the iK resistor to suppress static. The second PDF is a portion of the Centroid wiri...

Re: X axis motor trips while running a job
I am having a similar problem. In my case the Z axis will stop responding but Acorn keeps running the file and the screen shows the Z axis moving. In other cases the Z axis worked fine to home the machine and then, after using the plate to zero the axis to the top of the material Z would stop workin...

Re: how to determine if Acorn board firmware updated
So if I read that right the program checks each time it is opened and will not load unless the proper firmware in installed in the beagle Bone.

how to determine if Acorn board firmware updated
I am having a problem with the .64 version of the software. I have installed it three times now and have never seen a screen that indicates the firmware in the Acorn board has been updated. What should I have and how can I see if I actually do have that installed.
